I agree with the <20 or >3, but I think the problem is partially due to datek holding orders too. I find that if I want a stock to either be bought or sold that if I get no fill after 20 seconds and the market is still at the price I want, (i still use limits though for market), that if I cancel the order I normally get the fill at my price. This is why I think orders are being held on certain issues. I am trading close to 15 times a day right now and I can predict when datek is holding orders by the messages I get in the open orders page.
