I have a feeling compusa will be the best place to get an imac.

If you believe the numbers thrown around on the Mac web sites, CompUSA has preordered 300,000 iMacs for themselves. Since I think CompUSA has about 500 stores nationwide, a little math shows that's 600 iMacs per CompUSA! That alone makes me doubt the numbers somewhat. The more believable number is 100,000 preordered, which still comes in around 200 units per store, on average.
