Shares Outstanding Remember that 210M of that 610M is treasury stock. Treasury stock is not considered part of the float, not part of the outstanding shares and not used in earnings per share calculations. It is treated as an asset on the balance sheet. So this means that in reality 400M shares are outstanding. However, PRWT can sell those treasury shares at any time. They will probably use them for acquisitions.
