To All: While visiting, was able to enjoy C-SPAN airing an event at the Kennedy Library.

Guest: John Kenneth Galbraith

Content: Anecdotes from his Harvard and Kennedy years, as one might guess. Q&A afterwards.

As a former U.S. Ambassador there, said India had in earlier days -- Gandhi, Nehru -- preferred to approach the remainder of the world, and the Cold War in particular, from a "higher ground." Very displeased and discouraged w/ the latest developments.

Maybe some would like to read an interview from London's Sunday The Observer.
