David;
Very well said and I would suggest you do the same with Emile.
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment
I feel a few had justification to rebuke Emile....... Do you feel otherwise...............
Family is family. Agreement or dis agreement is another thing but we are still commanded to love the brother.
What is your definition of a brother. (is it that they claim Jesus with their mouth)
1: Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Do you feel Emile is right by labeling Israel as satanic............. Is that a good representation of what Jesus is.....................
Also the end of the verse is as follows; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Who are all the families God is referring to................
A brother in Christ for myself is not one who Curses Israel the Jewish people, or others so he is not my brother. A child is disciplined when they do wrong, by you side stepping and patting Emile on the back is not showing love only reenforcing his attitude towards others.
I can give you many scriptures in the Bible when Jesus was angry, you seem to think that everything is based on unconditional love, thats like saying satan does not exist. He does exist and he is very deceptive the Bible is his favorite source for his deception.
Foul words against others is not God or a follower of Jesus and yes I am guilty of some of that but only as a sword to pierce the foulness that was directed at me and others not the other way around.
If the people of Germany was to denounce Hitlers foul words and have come back with the love of God with the denouncement of this man the Holocaust would have never occurred. Would not of all parties benefited including Hitler so by patting him on the back all suffered.
Shalom I consider a brother and I have been angry with him on occasions. But you will find that true brothers in the lord will forgive and forget and resolve their differences, this is not the case with Emile, he has not budged one bit from his stance on Israel not to mention other beliefs that he holds.
I am not suggesting to put Israel on a pedestal but I feel strongly that is wrong to condemn it.
