Funny you should mention it: it's my experience too. Often when I have an active order standing for a long time and I then cancel it, it "magically" get filled just at that moment. Something rotten going on methinks. You mind sharing your insight into their messages with us? How can you see they're going to hold it by their confirmation message? That would be very useful information indeed!
