I have to say that I am surprised that US Government officials such as Greenspan can state in public their views on whether the market is too high or too low and where it is heading in the near future. This does not happen here in the UK and if it did the individual concerned would be subject to very heavy critisism. If the market is too high or low then investors will act accordingly sooner or later. I trust Greenspan is not a market investor!
