There are about 33 million shares outstanding and the float is about 23.5 million. Institutions own about 70% of the shares, and insiders control about 30%. Note that some institutional ownership is also classified as insider ownership (the chairman of NetApp is also a noted V.C., for example). You can do lots of research on NTAP. Here are some places to start: wsrn.com marketguide.com biz.yahoo.com Wouldn't it be nice if this were the next Cisco. There is a connection or two: Valentine is Chairman of both NTAP and Cisco, if I recall correctly.
