Obvously if I were seriously contemplating an investment I would call the company and request some specific details of the "assets" of the company. I agree that the scientific basis of the "research" into embryo transfer can not be released. However, I can see no reasons not to release information concerning the "exclusivity" or research performed for Struthers or reference to the progress made to date and expected milestones.

The reporter who wrote the article does not have any axes to grind and I have found that he truly looks for positive information in his reviews BUT obviously goes beyond the company under investigation and checks with his contacts in the pork industry and agricultural research community before putting his story together.

If Struthers felt constrained by confidentiality matters in their discussions with the reporter and this led to an unfavourable article it is unfortunate that they found themselves in this situation. I do not feel that the article was entirely one sided but simply an honest effort to obtain some Due Diligence on the company in order to inform the interested public of Struthers advances and chances for sucess in their endeavours.

Personally I was involved in embryo transfers for dairy cattle and find this an interesting field but one which must be approached with some considerable caution when trying to establish a financial plan and cash flow estimates!
