Dear Francisco, It's not unusal for a stock to sell off even w/ good earnings exceeding the analyst forecast. Alot of times the stock price has been run up in expectation of exactly that. So the good earnings have already been factored into the price . So a little profit taking was probably in order especially in view of the market on Thurs. But really came on strong today . ( Fri.) I glanced at it during the day in real time and it really looked good. Hope it can keep it up . Best of Luck in your investing. richard
Sears sold off bigtime even though reporting good earning and a really good increase in sales . So you have to really watch them around earning season . Even the group can sell of in " sympathy " when other stocks in the same basic group. Investors are a fickle lot only want stocks to go up . But if they only went up we would have a " crash " instead of corrections , so there is always a silver lining .
