To all interested.
I am tired of this entire issue. It is clear to me from God's word that he is not finished with Israel. That the Church has not replaced Israel. That Israel is outside of the Church at present because of their unbelief. God will remember his promise to them and will cause the veil to be lifted off their eyes. Israel did not crucify the Lord. God himself did so. Yeshua laid down his own life and no man took it from him.
Jhn 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
Jhn 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
God chose to reveal himself through the Jewish culture. Yeshua chose to be a Jew. To do other than respect his choice of the Jews is IMHO blasphemy. We as gentiles are partakers of the promise to the Jew. They are not brought into our Church, we are privileged to be part of God's plan through them.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
If Jew and Gentile are the same then why does Paul make the distinction between Jew and Greek? Yeshua's love will reach to the uttermost parts of the earth. We are privileged to have the chance to win his people to him. It is sad that many on this thread are not interested in attracting unbelievers but would rather bash them and each other. I am weary of this deception in the Church and wish for this fight to end.
Rth 1:16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, [or] to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people [shall be] my people, and thy God my God:
Rth 1:17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, [if ought] but death part thee and me.
I will proudly stand with Yeshua and his people. You should do as your heart leads you. I will not answer for any of you. The question is between you and God. I am proud to pitch my tent in the camp of Israel.
