I was listening to Joe Kernan's winners & losers, paying only half attention to what he said. There was an article in either WSJ or NY Times about the "day in the life" of an Allstate agent/claims adjuster and how his computer system struggles when dealing with Y2K problem. Also that there was big $$$$ in solving the Y2K problem. Can anyone help with more accurate details? Sorry I wasn't paying closer attention but that is what I remember, or thought I heard.
