Jeffrey,
There are many reasons. Let's look at the customer list
starting with the oldest to the newest.

Hitachi:
Long history with LTX, wants to move away from Advantest. Natural
for them to move to the Fusion since the software is compatible.

Symbios:
Committed to the LTX Delta series long ago. Bought into the Fusion
many years back. Still waiting for delivery after several years of
promises.

Hyundai:
Went same way as Symbios. Still waiting...

Philips:
Wanted lo-cost mixed-signal system which never materialized. This
was suppose to come from Ando but never did. Got Fusions instead.

National:
always had two vendor strategy, LTX and Teradyne. They also have
Catalyst. Who knows why National does anything...

QLogic:
Need performance of the Fusion pin card for their high speed serial
products. The LTX pin card performance is superb and their
sychronation technology is second to none. See the press release.

ASET:
Driven by 3DFX performance requirements. They need bunches of vector
memory. These guys buy what the customer tells them to buy...

Siliconware:
Probably want a piece of the 3DFX business.

AMS:
This is an old LTX customer for the Synchro.

Of all the customers listed, how many are really NEW customers??
