W.F,

I am not so disappointed, the world is full of false Prophets. No offense, Zeev, but I wish not to be listed.

When, may I ask, has Zeev forcasted the S&P 500? My feeling is down slight on Monday, then back to the top, and that is above 1200 basis Sept.

I am not saying that I am even in the league with Zeev, and I truly do not wish to be, but I will offer some advice to those who "bookmark" "internet experts". First and foremost, these folks are not registered CTA's, as I am not. When Zeev proffers an opinion, it is his and his only. When I proffer one, it is my opinion only. I have said many times that I only proffer my opinion, and I have offered advice not to follow me.

I will be the first to admit that the internet offers unlimited possibility at this time to those who have ulterior motives, and I certainly do not include Zeev in this category, but all must remember that Zeev is an active investor! I have on purpose not actively traded any security upon which I comment. If I do, then I will announce to all in advance my intention, and I think that I have done that.

The point that I make here is not to be jealous of Zeev, nor to deride him, nor to detract from his "success", but to issue a warning to those who do not understand the potential of the internet for "being misled"!

Do not get me wrong, and I understand that I am rambling here, but one must understand that there folks making a living trading with a few fractions of dollars and making frequent trades.

Let me also say that the obverse is true. The internet community offers some very good advice and is a great source of information for investors. One can find a veritable wealth of information here.

Using that information properly and to personal benefit may prove easy for some and more difficult for others. Some get lost in the detail and some grab some minute concept and think that it will provide wealth. Often that is wrong.

The current trend will change, no matter what its duration has been. Change is basic to the market and inevitable. Timing is a problem.

How is good market timing achieved. Tough subject!

Let me give you an example. I personally doubt that "Oil is dead". It is out of favor, and I might look for values in that area. I also doubt that "Gold is dead", and I look for value there. When, I do not know, but one could buy a couple of shares of Franco Nevada etc. Not whole hog here, but a "value investor might do that".

Most emphas has been on "inflation". One might think about the effects of "deflation". In that scenario, bonds are a nice thing to hold, particularly "gilt edged ones".

I know not what will happen here, but I have been most successful in stating my personal opinions, have I not?

Personal "o", Jack!!!
