Rodster,

Very interesting, I never thought of it that way. I have put in market orders on running stocks and they are always filled at the current ask when it is placed. Normally it is broken up to look like alot of buys, so it seems, but today I put in a market order to sell a stock at 5 1/2 was the ask, was happily suprised when it executed at 9/16. Any more thoughts, I find this very interesting especially what you wrote about the mm's

Best to you,

Steph
