No simple answer to that. they are 140 out of 9000. I put the scans on because these stocks for the better part are canslim or ex-canslim with a good history. that are showing price movement and volume and they should be in a database of stocks. I think of it as a daily weekend review list.

I am familiar with many of them. so I can quickly eliminate for various reasons a number that come up on list.

I do slide show the list, they are ranked in turns of recent movement so the first ones have made the strongest short-term moves. If you believe the strong get stronger, you start there. if you are wanting those that may be just starting off look at the end of list.

Metastock, WOW and GET provide scans based on indicators/systems which also can be applied. that where we each decide what our mind set would let us go with. For one person it might be AIQ's sd-sk or 13,34 MA xover. I usually add them to my real time signal listof stocks I follow thru the day, about 600.

So that rambling says , if you are looking for stocks make sure these are in your database and apply your trusted systems to them. slide show them in a one year chart with some key indicators about 9 seconds a chart, with a notepad. See the patterns and where indicators stand. my tc2000 template shows evelopes, 3 MAs, 13,34,89 macd, volume, regression lines. you can tell alot in 9 sec.
