Hi Bill; I didn't look at BA all that much, but that swing up she had was likely due to the run up in the DOW, somehow I had "jumped to conclusions" that with her fall from grace she might become a DOW dog, but looking at her now I see she is a long way from being a Dow dog. I would shy away from puts on any thing that looks like it may become a Dow dog just because so many people play them. BA got a long way to go. But for myself I doubt I'd do puts on her. I think I'd rather put my money in a few calls ( after I feel more sure the market is found it's bottom ) I like leaps on Bel way out 2000, and deep in the money, but haven't sprung for them yet.
