Thanks for illuminating us. Your wide array of knowledge has me wondering whether you are a stockbroker, or a health care professional.

My assumption is that a large pharmaceutical company like Hoffman La Roche is the only one that can come up with the financing to build a production facility. Few months ago Idec hired Jacobs Engineering to start designing the production facility. They are late - ideally you want the production facility to be built and approved at the same time you receive your product approval. My understanding is that the high dosages required, translating to a big plant, slowed down the hunt for a pharmaceutical partner to financing. But now they found two - Hoffman La Roche and a Japanese company. I'll be looking for notices that they have started breaking ground for their production facility.
