Mac- I seldom disagree with Dave Evans. it is like fighting with Santa Claus but in this case. I tend to think you are right. Yes IBD has a great ranking system and yes it gives good numbers but the lack of automation in the rankings for the little guys like us is very time consuming. I already need reading glasses and have to squint to find the ranks.
Previously I used TC2000 rankings and was very happy with them although they were not O'neals they were a relative eps and RS ranking system. That IMHO is the key.
Now I use qp and they have a flexible system which is only for RS. I then go to IBD for EPS. Yes it is very different at times, but it is still(RS rankings in iBD and Qp I mean) a ranking system.

So if you have a system- use it to your advantage. high EPS companies tend to do better over time. High RS companies often stay there or come back up there.

ps - remember don;t fight with Santa Claus or you might get coals in your stocking. I know an obnoxius young lady who battled with Dave and .... Well she got nothing for xmas.
