I don't write the articles, I just quote them, but this isn't the only source that comes to the same conclusion. One may be"allowed" to produce Java based thin client computing ,but in the real world apparently little is getting done, and with every fall in prices of regular computers, true thin client has fewer advantages. If <<the problem with current technology is lack of consistent DTHML implementations>> as you suggest, I can't see any particular reason this will get better. Overcoming a massive built in standard is very difficult, and I suspect Java will remain a popular but niche product. So far sales of thin client computers back up this guess. Only time will tell who is right. In any case further discussion of this issue doesn't belong on the SAP thread.
