Daniel,

The reason I don't use T/A as a tool is that I simply don't want to learn the lingo.

If I visit the threads on SI started by, and visited by, people that study T/A, I simply cannot understand a lot of what they say, and fall asleep while attempting to understand them. I mean no disrespect, because I am sure they are highly intelligent individuals, but it is all way over my head.

I can however, read a balance sheet and see whether or not a company is making money, as long as they are not "cooking the books".

No chart that I know of will tell you if a company is making money.

Anyone trading the hot "internut" stocks, must be using a chart, because anyone trading them on F/A would have to be an idiot. IMHO.
Sorry if I offended anyone, but I wouldn't touch any of them with a ten foot pole, long or short.

This is my portfolio. As you can see, I am heavily weighted in NYSE large caps, but dabble in the Nasdaq stocks.

Good luck, and as always, have fun,
Phil
