TKLC..42 large blocks going through on Friday. Stock was up over 2 points intraday. Some of you might remember the 5 point surge in this stock in February after their earnings report. Much potential here

Tekelec Among Vendors Selected to Provide Wireless LNP to AirTouch
Award Includes Newest IS-41 And Triggerless LNP Technology
MORRISVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 1998-- Tekelec (Nasdaq/NM:TKLC - news) announced today it has received orders from AirTouch Communications, the largest wireless company in the world based on venture customers, for its planned deployment of wireless Local Number Portability (LNP) in Detroit and Atlanta.

AirTouch will add Tekelec's IS-41 wireless LNP feature to its existing EAGLE Signal Transfer Point (STP) installation in Detroit to facilitate number portability over cellular networks. Another EAGLE STP pair in Atlanta will be the first deployment site for Tekelec's new ''triggerless'' LNP feature.

Tekelec's LNP solution is notable for integrating the Service Control Point (SCP) capability into the STP, rather than depending on external SCP database facilities. Triggerless LNP provides the ability to bypass the traditional Local Routing Number (LRN) query, eliminating an extra step in the call routing process and saving call set-up time. The triggerless solution does not require costly end office or mobile switching center software upgrades with LNP triggers or the payment of wireline service providers' database access costs.
