Hi Wayne. You are a prime example of why I believe "temporary memberships" should not be allowed on SI!!>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Could you expand on that a little , Chief?

Certainly Wayne. With membership comes a certain degree of knowledge of a person's motivation. I know you from your many posts, as you know me. We both know each others "motivation". Temporary memberships inspire "every lifeform" to jump in and proliferate the "pump" or the "dump" with NO retribution. So their motivation is suspect in the very least. Some "temps" have used their limited membership very usefully and contributed or learned from their experience. Others use it for "devious" reasons with NO recourse. Market Makers(MM's) for specific BB stocks can "pop" in and out at will and manipulate a stock with no consequence.
I realize my opinion is unpopular and am willing to take the "flack" associated with this opinion. I extend my opinion to SI and GO2NET!

SI should be;

1) CLOSED to all outside "lurkers". All messaging could be displayed to non-members that is 48 hours old. (this would allow Go2NET to still attract membership, but would offer NO BENEFIT to non-members of current happenings on a stock.)
2) NO TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIPS.( the SI is known world-wide, the benefits or disadvantages of a membership can easily be evaluated without TEMP membership)

This is my opinion and I will stand by it!!
