dell css sell on friday.
this is significant because i think my system was 95% accurate for the past 4 yrs.

I sold out of DELL on the following reason:

1) I think it's dangerous when there is a current sell (via my TA) and the mkt sell, AND to stay in because earnings is coming. It is NOT correct logic. Read #2:

2) We are trading on Assumptions. We are ASSUMING that DELL will rally on pre-earnings. Perhaps, 3 day rally right before earnings date? Perhaps, 2 week rally right before earnings? We dont know. Even if it does rally, will it "repair" the damage right now? In other words, will the rally regain the lost paper profits as we ride DELL down now?

What I'm saying is, the risk of the trade increases tremendously when we assume that XYZ will happen.

I finally realized this Failed logic and decided to sell. Reassess.. Then enter again.. SAFETY first remember?
