Hi Robert,

I just opened an account with MBT and have an old account at Datek....I've been thinking about this very subject.

If a 30 day "reduced commission for low shares" plan had been available, I would have opened an MBT account *months* ago.

It may seem trivial, but it's psychologically hard to know that you're either going to have to risk higher shares while learning the interface, or lose money, even if you get the trade direction right.(because of 100 share lots and 40buck round trips....even 1/4 point scalps still lose money.)

Paper trading just builds confidence, not executional competance.

I'll betcha they do it. Everyone I've talked to at MBT KILLS themselves trying to satisfy their customers. I don't know if they're the best, but they sure try to be.

Dick
