We can only wait for the new business to kick in and earnings to
increase again at a reasonable rate. That's the only language
the Street understands (that and frothy new IPOs in flimsy Internet
companies!).
Much as I disapprove of a stock buyback, on the principle that the
company should put its loose cash into something that will improve
business instead, now would be a good time for them to do it.
