Believe that T and BT are talking about a joint venture. As a former BT employee who stays in touch with old colleagues, I've been hearing rumors for several weeks. This is a Reuters news release on the matter: biz.yahoo.com The interesting thing is that this article talks about a venture, not a merger. The joint venture would be similar to existing the BT - MCI jv subsidiary. Duckson
