The PRESENTMENT side is a different story. How does going all out ("pay bills" buttons on every portal out there) on the billing side queer their bank relationship? The banks that want to jump in and provide the payment side thru the portals presumably will gain share fastest, and soon it will be a land rush to partner with CKFR and the portals. I'm asking you to build a big mental "firewall" between payment and presentment. On the payment side, CKFR admittedly cannot make it on its own. As you said, retail bill payment couldn't fly without the banks. On the presentment side, however, what is stopping CKFR from building absolutely the biggest, brashest presence it can and offering the most aggressive banks the other side (payment) of the deal?
