Glen, sounds like you got screwed. Who's your account with?

PNC Brokerage and they are also where I bank. I sent a letter about their error and they had one of their "compliance" people call me. They asked me to write more as though the information is not on their trading records and the conversations are not recorded. The conversations are recorded. I am giving them a chance to make part of this right because the error was significant and I did ask twice. I did not approach them with a threat of legal action but they responded verbally from their legal department. That is what compliance is. I would have thought a firm as large as PNC Bank Corp would be forthright rather than hide by stonewalling. That does not appear to be the case.

You are correct, I did get screwed. However, I will be unscrewd when this is all said and done. It will just take time and may take money. PNC Bank Corp would be far better off doing something to handle their error rather than that add to their costs in this issue.

Glenn
