Don't know if you happened to see Wall Street Week on Friday but the guest was Chris Davis of the Davis family which is supposed to be a big time investment firm. Must admit, I was not familiar with them.
Anyway, one of the panelists asked him about Y2K opportunities and his answer was something like the following; Not too sure about the gravity of the issue.. in some companies he hears some say it is big and some say not so big but lots of money is being spent and much of it after phone calls to IBM Services for help. He was saying that was his way of making money on the Y2K problem... Buying IBM.
