I am all for the instant check for firearm purchases and do not consider myself a paranoid gun owner but am against the collection of fingerprints from law abiding citizens for the purpose of establishing a national database of gun owners. If there was a way for the IDX products to be used for verification purposes only I would be all for it, but there is not. Throughout history registration schemes have always led to confiscation. I do not know what country you are from but it is a Constitutional Right for law abiding citizens to own firearms in the USA. With our existing Commander and Chief in the White House, maybe I should be paranoid! nra.org
