IMHO you folks are tripping over pennies instead of collecting dollars. Open the account, trade 100-200 shares until you are comfortable. I opened my account, didn't know a thing about how the software worked, sat and watched for several days, still didn't know anything. Finally I was alerted to what I thought was a good opportunity, pushed a few buttons, bought 1000 shares, pushed a few more and sold at a profit. On the second trade, pushed the wrong button at the wrong time, (market purchase) got a bad fill, sold a little later and lost a little bit. Started to experiment with the various buttons, actually read some of the instructions, continued on my may. Eight trading days later and I'm up about $4,000.00
If you have traded at Datek or anyplace else at all, you will find the MBT setup much faster and better. Do yourself a favor and quit dilly dallying and as somebody said "Just Do IT"
Good trades
