Hi Sam,

It is Amoco. They have a Swan Hills pool at Blackstone. Their new well came on stream last month and is producing 70 MMCF/D to the Husky Ram River Gas Plant. The pool has a raw gas reserve of 1.1 TCF. They have another well in the same pool that is a little bit better in that it produces 80 MMCF/D.

The Blackstone pool is not all that far from the Strachan Play being developed by Apache, Tusk(TKE-TSE), First Star(FST-ASE), Dalton (DAL-ASE) and Loon(LEY-ASE).

Apache invoked "tight hole" status on their 3-22 well while drilling at Swan Hills depth. Recently, they tightened the information confidentiality with partners even further in that they've gone to a "need to know basis" for information exchange. I don't think they'd do this if they had a duster!!! For more info on the Amoco well check my post to Werlick earlier today on the Tusk Energy thread.

If you are not yet into the Strachan play, TKE is a steal at $1.40 - $1.50 range and has almost nil downside. I believe they have a huge hit here.

Later,
grayhairs

P.S.-- I'm thinking that you should see Esso doing some more acid stimulation (frac??) work on the Turner Valley well pretty soon!!
