Not exactly music? Isn't it music if the creator considers it music, just like poetry is poetry if the poet declares it so?

Or is music in the ear of the beholder?

I am disappointed but nor surprised that a serious piece that I enjoy would somehow fall below the threshhold of actual MUSIC in your judgment!! ;^)
