I do not feel any spirituality in them(your posts), at all. That really is the most troubling thing of all, isn't it? I really believe that we are both pretty perceptive and intuitive in different ways, yet neither of us picks up anything equating with true Christian love in these "dialogues". Has Emile convinced you that he loves you? That he really cares about us? I feel that he derives some strange satisfaction from our fallen states-- my frequently confused and inadequate faith, your paganism-- compared to his state of grace. I guess he sees doubt or disbelief as a willful act, rather than a sincere effort to find answers. Too many times I see people excusing intolerance or hatred with the term "righteous anger". How can you argue with righteous anger!! By its very definition, we are made unrighteous. Oh dear, it's all very confusing, and it's hot and I think I'll go to bed and read something frivolous. Maybe tomorrow it will rain.
