Vivus short interest as of 7-15-98: 11,888,174 down 13% from last month.

I suspect there was a lot of covering after the PW upgrade followed by a lot of selling by those originally buying under 10.

Vivus management owns 25% of Vivus shares.

As of 7-15 57% of the float is held in short interest which is still extremely high.
