I was a little surprised today that Bob seemed to think Greenspan's comments were a major factor in this correction. As I recall it may have even been in answer to a question he remarked something like a correction will occur at some point but the timing and magnitude of a correction cannot be accurately predicted. I remember on hearing the statement my reaction was "duuh, tell us something we don't know" While it was typical Grenspeak devoid of significant content it was a convenient excuse for an extremely valued market with too much bullish sentiment to take a needed correction. I wish someone would ask Bob if he still sees a possibility for that 4th quarter inflection point down the road.
