<< I heard a great preacher who I admire and respect greatly preach that there were two different tracts of scripture talked about in the bible running parallel. One track of the church and one track of Israel! He painted the picture of two railroad tracks running parallel, that converge somewhere down the tracks into one track, or one church!

If this were true, and I never really shook out his theory thouroughly (maybe the thread can help me), both sides could be right. Wouldn't that be beautiful!>>

I have heard much of this kind of theology as well. Perhaps the biggest sources were calvary chapel and Hal Lindsey. I've also found many prophesy books are inclined to present this type of view. I don't have all the answers regarding this issue but won't limit God as to what He's capable of doing. I do believe the fact that there is no other name under heaven except the name of Jesus by which we may be saved. And no matter what race, kindred or tongue we are from the gospel applies to all with no acceptions or favorites. God has no grandchildren either, in other words every single person must personally be born again by the spirit of God and have their sins washed away because God will not allow sin in His presence.
