We've been in our new house 10 days. Today, our 4 year old used a bit too much toilet paper and the toilet overflowed. No big deal, we say. But where's the water? Then, we hear it. The sound of rain falling, only it's .... indoors?

Oh no. Two streams of water flowing from the light fixtures in the living room ceiling. Then the ceiling starts to leak. We take care of the mess and the water eventually stops leaking, but what the f@@k. This isn't supposed to happen less than two weeks after you move into a house. Why didn't the inspector notice the now obvious patch job that was done the last time this happened. Let's sue the SOB. Let's sue the sellers too. Cooler heads prevail. Let's make a claim on the homeowners and just get the damn thing fixed. The last thing we need is to get lawyers involved.

At least, that's where it stands now. But if I have a bad day Monday.

I see there's no relief in sight for you, penni. I hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.
