How did you get the short figures when it only comes out on JUL 27th?

No VVUS the company owns 25% of the shares. Its considered part of their cash balance.

But only 2 mil shares covered? I would think most of the covering was by the ones who shorted it under 10 anyway and a lot of them have reshorted once they saw the price breake 9 1/2.
