Are you capable of understanding the psychological components of healing, Emile? Sometimes I don't think you really read my posts before you answer them. The fact that someone is a scientist is not much of a help with a disease like ulcerative colitis. In fact, it might be a hinderance in that she was made to feel helpless during the onslaught of her illness.

Any reputable doctor would probably acknowledge that there are things about illnesses we do not yet understand. That does not prove divine intervention, however.
