Hi Penni,
That was a well thought out post. At the end I noticed something about the school board and materials in the schools. I desire to become more active in this area. Last year I served as a parent communicator and plan to go on further with this. My biggest problem is the presentation of the theory of evolution as fact and the only fact. This is a theory and a weak one at that. With the recent knowledge increase of DNA they have admitted that evolution is a virtual impossibility. So why not share that with the children as well and present facts, isn't that a part of education? For me I see no harm in presenting creationism as another fact of origination of the earth, I think children can think and should be given all information to form their own understanding. I do not know your position on this topic but am just sharing something on my heart because of the mention of school material.
I hope you have a great week,
Nancy
