Where does the hype come from? Read to the bottom...these reports are
everywhere...and have the cachet of 'science' and computer
consulting'.

After an alarming 80-item list of Y2K 'events' and 'problems'--
including a mention of a feature film that will be coming out with Y2K
as a major theme--this report provides an update on company news and
announcements.

COMPANY NEWS, ANNOUNCED CONTRACTS, AND PARTNERSHIPS

* Accelr8 announced a U.S. corporate-wide licensing agreement with LTV
Steel, for the purchase of the Navig8 2000 toolset.

* Ascent Logic announced an alliance with Hitachi Data Systems to
provide complete strategy and implementation for Year 2000 test
management.

* BlackHawk Information Services announced that Apple Computer has
awarded the firm a follow-on contract, for fiscal 1998, for the
completion of Apple's Y2K conversion of Tandem-based business systems.

* BRC Holdings announced it has been awarded a Year 2000 renovation
contract by Wells Fargo.

* CACI announced it has won a $5.2 million Year 2000 contract
with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

* Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) announced an alliance with IBM
and Isogen in which CTS will offer a free, two-day, on-site
consultation for companies that purchase Isogen's inventory and
assessment tools. The tools are part of the IBM VisualAge 2000 tool
set.

* Complete Business Solutions announced it has been awarded a contract
by MAG Mutual Insurance Co. to manage the Year 2000 conversion for
COBOL and other core processing programs.

* Computer Horizons announced that it has been awarded a contract to
provide a full lifecycle Year 2000 solution to Norwich Union, Ireland.

* Computer Associates (CA) announced that Seguros Bilbao has chose
CA's Discovery 2000 toolset to help the company bring its IT
infrastructure into Year 2000 compliance.

* ConSyGen announced that it has been awarded contracts by Insurance
Data Processing and Chase Software Norway AS to make software
applications Year 2000 compliant.

* Crystal Systems announced it is performing a Year 2000 Millennium
Conversion Project at the Ford Motor Company in the UK, in conjunction
with a local system integrator, Logica UK Limited. Crystal also
announced it was awarded a Year 2000 contract with Ernst & Young at
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.

* Data Dimensions announced it has signed a contract, valued at $5
million
, with Merck & Co. to perform Year 2000 consulting services.

* DELSOFT Consulting announced it has signed a teaming agreement with
CAC Millennium Services to jointly pursue Year 2000 remediation
services.

* INTERSOLV has been chosen the vendor for change management and
system renewal efforts within Sprint's Year 2000 program.

* JDA Software Group announced that Chief Auto Parts has selected
JDA's enterprise retail solution to help the company combat its Year
2000 problem.

* LGS announced that along with Deloitte Touche Consulting Group, DRT,
Hexagon Computer Systems and Northey Smith & Assoc., it has been
awarded a contract by Agriculture Canada and Agri-Food Canada to
ensure Year 2000 compliance of their information systems.

* Reasoning announced an agreement to provide CTA, Inc. with
Reasoning's suite of tools for inclusion in CTA's Year 2000 assessment
and remediation services.

* Relative Technologies and Ernst & Young announced a development
partnership to build a Year 2000 solution for client/server systems.

* Sapiens International announced that Siemens Energy & Automation has
retained Sapiens to make its order processing and sales and marketing
software applications Year 2000 compliant.

* Systems & Computer Technology announced it has been awarded a
contract by Washington Water Power to help make systems Year 2000
compliant.

* Viasoft announced it has acquired EraSoft Technologies, a provider
of Year 2000 assessment and analysis software tools for desktop
computing.

* Zitel announced it has been selected as a Year 2000 service provider
to the State of New York. The contract gives Zitel the opportunity to
bid on all Year 2000 project work for New York State agencies, local
governments, school districts, fire departments and other
organizations.

* Several companies received ITAA*2000 certification recently. These
companies include: IBM's Personal Software Division, Sapiens and Wipro
Systems Ltd.

Hanifen, Imhoff Inc. makes a market in the common shares of Accelr8
Technology, Alydaar, Analysts International, Computer Horizons, Metro
Information Services, SEEC and TAVA Technologies. Hanifen,
Imhoff Inc. has managed or co-managed common stock offerings of CIBER,
Inc. and TAVA Technologies in the last 3 years.
