Thall,
If what i understand is correct, the mine claims are like patents in maintenance, and that is if they are not paid in Sept. , IPM would then have 6 month to pay, and if not paid then , they would have 6 month more to pay only with a penalty applied. in either case the mine claims do not revert back to the government immediately, and can not be claimed by any other until the original owner has had the opportunity to pay.
