I know my Christ as a constant part of me and it sure isn't any human named Jesus or anyone else. I know your sincerity in your beliefs and understand them personally. I pity you and the rest of the uninformed world for this belief. Just because the bible contains many plagiarized truths for living a moral life doesn't in any form or fashion make it all true or the word of God. It really would make no difference what our beliefs were if it made us to progress in our spirituality. As a minister I'm sure you have studied the bible and read right over the truths there. You have been brainwashed in this dogma since birth so your studies are colored by your beliefs. Until you can use an unbiased open mind it is a waste of time. The Apostle Paul taught an entirely different doctrine from that of Peter who preached a historical Christ and never had the Revelation of Paul. They were bitter enemies to the end. The Romans who wrote the bible changed his doctrines to fit in with Peters nd made it a part of their bible 200 years after his death. They were forced into this to keep their control over the religion. Paul says we are dual in nature. The first man Adam was earthy (consisting of matter) and the second man is "The Lord From Heaven." (the spiritual part of man.) The new covenant says God will write his laws upon our hearts and minds and no man shall teach his brother who is God, for all men shall know Him. He will be to them a God and they will be be to him a son, and their sins and iniquities will be remembered no more. Peter preached a historical Jesus, Paul preached a mystical Christ. His revelation on the road to Damascus has been altered to indicate he met Jesus. That was a lie inserted by the Romans. He said he met a man in Christ and knew not whether in the first or third heaven. Strange I have never heard an explanation of the three Heavens. Paul says we will have the mind of Christ. People so not believe. Truth is we all have the mind of Christ but aren't aware of it until we become spiritually advanced in consciousness. Will try to get an article I have on this and post later. I don't need the promise of eternal life. I know now I have lived forever and will forever. You cant talk down to me on religion. I can assure you I know more about religion and have studied more deeply than any minister I know. And I have a son-in-law who is a Church of Christ minister.
