Who is suppling Panasonic/Matsuchita with chips for their new digital VHS machine? Dr. Paul Liao was on C-Span2 the other day saying that this new digital VHS machine of their's would be out this fall. Also, on the same program, Barbara Lopez, Digital Broadcast Market Development Manager for Intel was on C-Span2 the other day talking about digital TV. She said that in 6 to 9 months Intel sees broadcasters providing their customers with downloads of games and program content to their TVs. This will be made possible by a (set top) box or some type of computer that functions as a receiver which would have computing and storage capabilities.
