The value of QWST is much easier to visualize because of ATT/BT actions. QWST is no "partner" play. It could very well be a panic takeover candidate now.

I think that in the long run, more money will be made if QWST partners up with the RBOC's than if our shares got bought by one of them. That is what I am dreaming of at night, at least. I think that the BT deal would have been beautiful, but maybe the fact that QWST doesn't offer as much international appeal to BT was the reason why they didn't get the deal. In any case, I would rather that QWST stay QWST, and not become an acquisition target. Just too many things can go wrong in a merger, especially if they are a "panic takeover candidate"....Any thoughts?
