Well, I would guess we have seen the bottom
in the Russia stock market, but I am not sure. After the big IMF bailout runup, the MTS index has dropped four days in a row. I know Russia still has problems, but surely we are past the peak of uncertainty. One key number to watch IMHO is the tax revenues for July. They are supposed to be much higher than August due to the tax crackdown.
Economic growth is forecasted at 0% this year and 1-2% next year. That is not bad compared to other asian economies like Korea and Indonesia.
