Matt, Multicolinearity is definitely something to be avoided but IMO you should still have a certain degree of redundancy for the sake of verification. You have to be able to devise something that handles momentum, probable momentum duration, trend change (keeping minimization of whipsaws in mind), volume and has targeting capacity. Then you have to develop a situational domain within which to apply it all. Wait a minute...I thought I just taught you one of those.
