Mark,

Contrary to what letter writters and others say, the Carlin Trend could always be assayed. But when the feds kept the price of gold at $35 an ounce, there was not much point in trying to produce. When the restriction was lifted it opened new exploration.

Copper miners were head leaching in AZ back in the 20's and 30's so that concept was not new either.
